About Shannon

Shannon was born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin and now resides in Stoughton, WI with her brilliant partner, Ben. While costume design (and adjacent work) makes up the bulk of Shannon's professional time, she thrives most when she is able to entertain her many skills and passions, especially learning new things. Outside of theater, you might find her cooking or baking, hiking, working in her vegetable garden, watching movies, making art, working on her blog about watching movies and making art, or playing Dungeons and Dragons. Having a career in theater is a gift, but so is relaxing at home, especially for this introvert.
Shannon is a dedicated advocate for pay and labor equity in theater as well as fair and supportive work environments. She would be delighted to share some articles about these topics and have a discussion with you about them!
